Magazine Locked By Host System

In backup exec, go under devices tab,

select your tape drive from the list and right-click it with mouse. There should be an option "unlock" or "unlock device".

When you select this, backup exec will send info for tape drive to unlock itself.

After this go to tape drive itself, and select unlock right/left magazine under "operations"

This is handy tool for making tape drive more secure.
